A warm welcome at The Railway Inn Borth

After a day of walking, swimming, golfing or attempting to remain upright on a paddleboard, there are few things more welcome than a friendly local pub.

The Railway Inn is a family-owned pub and restaurant on Borth High Street. It combines a cosy atmosphere with food, drinks and the sort of warm village welcome that makes visitors feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

There is a beer garden for brighter days, while pool and darts provide entertainment when the weather encourages everyone back indoors. The pub is also dog friendly, which is especially useful after a walk along Borth beach.

It is a good choice for a casual meal, an evening drink or somewhere to sit and discuss the important events of the day, such as who spotted the dolphin first and who forgot to pack the towels.

Part of the Borth experience

One of the best things about staying near a village is being able to visit places that are part of the local community rather than spending the whole holiday inside a tourist resort.

The Railway Inn welcomes both residents and visitors, helping it retain the friendly character people look for in a traditional seaside pub.

Opening and food service times may vary, so check before making special plans or travelling with a larger group.

Pen y Graig tip: Dogs are welcome, although they may become extremely interested when the food arrives.
