About Pen y Graig

Pen y Graig Caravan Park has been part of the Cardigan Bay coastline for generations.

Situated on a dramatic cliff-top overlooking the sea, the park has been family-owned since the 1920s and continues to offer a relaxed, welcoming and traditional holiday park experience.

Today, Pen y Graig is run by fourth-generation owners Cari and Hannah, who took over the park in late 2024, continuing a long-standing family tradition.

What began as a small family-run site has grown into an established coastal holiday park with more than 100 owner families, many of whom have been returning for decades.

Unlike larger commercial parks, Pen y Graig has remained peaceful, personal and community-focused. As both a working farm and caravan park, the site retains its rural charm and relaxed atmosphere, making it a unique place to stay on the Welsh coast.

Whether you are visiting for a short coastal break, bringing your tourer for the season or looking for your own holiday home by the sea, Pen y Graig offers a friendly and scenic setting to enjoy time away.

Seaside fun on Aberystwyth’s Royal Pier

At the northern end of Aberystwyth promenade, Constitution Hill rises steeply above the sea. You can walk to the summit, but Aberystwyth Cliff Railway provides a much more relaxing alternative. The railway carries visitors from the bottom of the hill to the summit, avoiding the climb while still delivering the reward. Discovering Welsh history at the National Library of Wales

Do not be misled by the word “library”. The National Library of Wales is not somewhere visitors are expected to sit silently in a corner while somebody watches them suspiciously over a pair of glasses. It is one of Wales’s major cultural institutions and holds collections connected to the country’s history, language, literature, art, photography, maps, music and public life.
